Color the faculty

« Color the faculty » is a really simple and a short-lived project. The instructions were to choose a space in the faculty in order to propose an intervention where light and colors would play the leading role. The project had to be carried out on a minimal budget, without damaging the premises or obstructing the passage.

For this project, the goal was to transform the faculty building with light and color. We chose the emergency staircases as our intervention space, as they are used daily by many students. Our intention was to bring these staircases to life and connect the four floors of the faculty through an installation accessible to everyone. We came up with the idea of printing acetate sheets in various colors, cutting them into small strips, and delicately placing them near the light fixtures. The installation is simple, cost-effective, and cheerful.
