Accommodation for three people
The task was to design a duplex for three people based on one of three films we were given to choose from. The goal was to create a living space for the characters of the chosen film. This particular design was made for the three roommates in the 1994 film Shallow grave (original title Petit meurtre entre amis), directed by Danny Boyle. The film, which is tragic, tells the story of three friends who get caught up in a murder plot. Paranoia, fear, and stress gradually take over as the story unfolds.
Paranoid Theatre
This project was completed in the first year. The concept of a paranoiac theater comes from the role of the actors, who create a very tense atmosphere throughout the film. This duplex design amplifies that heavy, oppressive atmosphere with opaque partitions behind which only silhouettes can be seen. The use of raw materials in dark tones further enhances this feeling of claustrophobia. The house was designed with individual paths for each character, featuring secret and hidden rooms.
